Julian Marc Stringle was voted ‘BEST CLARINETTIST’ at the ‘BRITISH JAZZ AWARDS’ 2019
Julian's aptly-named ‘Dream Band’ has been the most popular box-office jazz draw at London’s Chickenshed Theatre for over 25 years .
Due to the catastrophe that is Covid 19, it could be a very long time before Julian’s loyal Chickenshed fan-base can see his remarkable ensemble of virtuoso instrumentalists playing ‘live’ at the theatre .
However, Julian’s record company Merfangle Music has released a nostalgic ‘live’ CD entitled ‘Julian Marc Stringle and the Dream Band – 'LIVE AT CHICKENSHED' . It is a superb recording of one of the groups many sell-out sessions at the venue, and also features Julian’s favourite vocalist Jacqui Hicks .
